Pdf+ Standard (for UIQ 3.x Smartphones) is a viewer for PDF (Portable Document Format) documents. Optimized for mobile phones, Pdf+ is very easy to use, fast, small and packs a lot of features.

The file view gives you an overview of the PDF documents on your device, and you can manage and open them easily. You can open password-protected files, and files encrypted with 40 and 128 bits Standard encryption.

In the page view, you get all the functions you'd expect, such as displaying specific pages, searching, zooming, full screen mode and displaying and following bookmarks and links. You can even dial a phone number.

Shortcuts and on-screen buttons give quick access to often-used functions. The built-in help text explains the program in detail.

Pdf+ (for UIQ 3.x Smartphones) can display a large number of PDF 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 files. Pdf+ silently ignores some unimplemented features and non-conforming PDF files, it will complain about other unimplemented features and non-conforming PDF files. Pdf+ is designed especially for Smartphones and Communicators. As these devices are still less powerful than desktop computers, some less-often used PDF constructs are not available.
Pdf+ can display text in almost any language, in particular when the font used has been embedded. Otherwise, Pdf+ will use the installed fonts to display text. This will only succeed when a ToUnicode translation table has been embedded in the document and when the substituted font contain the used characters.
For Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese documents using Type 0 fonts, you need to install the optional plug-ins during installation. Documents using Korean Type 0 fonts cannot be read at this time.
For non-Unicode encodings, if the ToUnicode translation table is available, the text can also be searched successfully.
Pdf+ can only display the complete Symbol and Zapf Dingbats fonts if you have the appropriate font files installed on your device. The built-in fonts only contain some Symbol characters, and none of the Zapf Dingbat characters.
Pdf+ doesn't handle the dynamic content of a PDF file, and it cannot render Type 3 fonts.

Useful utility that operates with GSM cells information and allows assigning various actions to be performed automatically when you enter or leave a specific location: play alarm, switch current profile, start application, send SMS or e-mail message and much more.

How to start:

* Not obligatory but greatly helping would be, first of all, to open GSM Cell log and turn it on to collect GSM cells information. Log data will be useful for managing location(s) cells list;
* To use GSM Navigator for performing various tasks, you need to set up GSM Locations. Open Locations view, create location(s), assign GSM cells and desired actions;
* Open settings and customize the options;
* Activate Best GSM Navigator by Joystick click;

Main view

Main view offers general application menu and easy access to other application views (Locations and GSM Cell log). Any item in this view can be opened directly by joystick click.

Settings:

* Autostart - allows to start application automatically upon phone switch-on;
* Log data interval - maximum GSM cell log time length in days. It is done to reduce the possible log size if you always keep it enabled. If cell creation date is older than the defined time length, it will be removed from the log;
* Message send interval - minimum time before the next message send action. This option allows avoiding frequent message sending when you switch between nearby locations;
* Location notifications - allows turning on or off the notification about location switch event;
* Resist exit requests - if this option is turned on, the operating system will not automatically close Best GSMNavigator due to lack of memory or any other reason when it might try to;

Each location has the following properties:

* Name - assigned location name, e.g. 'Home', 'Work', 'Cinema' etc;
* Cells list - each physical location can be served by one ore more GSM cells, therefore you can add all cells present in your physical location to the Location configured in our software. A specific cell can be assigned to one location only. For more advanced configuration of cells list you can use the following commands from Options menu:
o Add cells - find cells in this location and add those cells to it;
o Train location for... - search for cells in this location for a specified period of time and choose to add the cells found;
o Add cells from log - allows adding cells from GSM cell log
o Edit assigned cells - opens the list of assigned cells for further operations;
o Remove cells - find cells in this location and remove those cells from cells list;
* Actions on enter, Actions on exit - allows specifying actions upon entering and leaving a location. List of available actions:
o Alarm - plays a selected sound;
o Send SMS, E-Mail - allows sending predefined messages to predefined recipients;
o Switch wallpaper, theme - allows assigning a predefined image as wallpaper or switching to another theme in your smartphone;
o Backlight state - allows setting the backlight state to On, Off or On if charging;
o Start or close application - allows customizing a list of applications to be started or closed upon entering or leaving a location;
o Switch timezone - allows automatically switching the timezone, useful if you travel a lot between locations in different time zones;

This useful view allows collecting GSM cells information. To activate it, select "Enable log" command from menu (you can disable it later when all your locations are already defined). Recorded cells can be assigned to your defined locations or removed from those locations. Each cell can be renamed to hold a human readable label (e.g. 'Home1','Home2' etc), which can later be removed via Options menu.

Kylom My Calcul v1.1.UIQv3. SymbianOS9.

My Calcul is your calculator and nobody else's: like most other calculator
applications, it has a number of function buttons, which perform specific
calculations on the number entered or calculated. But unlike in other applications,
the buttons in My Calcul can be programmed by you to do exactly the calculations you
want. You are free to set the name of each function button, the calculation formula
behind it, and its color.

The calculation formula behind each button can take several named variables and an
unlimited number of parenthesis. In this example, the formula has 3 variables named
bill, tip_pct and guests.
12 buttons is not enough? You can prepare as many different pages of 12 buttons as
you want, so that you can have an unlimited number of functions stored and available
at any time.

Main features of My Calcul:
the calculation formulae can have up to 255 characters, with an unlimited number of
parenthesis and named variables. The last value of each variable is memorized within
one session, and it is offered as default value when the same variable is used again, in the same formula or in another formula.
the following functions are recognized in formulae: log, ln, factorial, sin, cos,
tan, acos, asin, atan, cosh, sinh, acosh, asinh. The numbers pi and e are also
recognized. pages can be exported in text files, which can be edited outside the application (new functions, new pages,...) and re-imported in the application. Full pages can also be exchanged between phones, attached to an email or beamed via bluetooth...
the calculator can operate in standard algebraic mode or in RPN mode (Reverse Polish
Notation). the application is fully operational with the flip closed (P990i).

My Calcul features a Solver module. When the user loads an equation with n variables
(up to 6), the application automatically builds up a table with one line per
variable. The table can be used like a small spreadsheet where the user enters values for any sub-set of n-1 variables and let the application calculate the value of the nth variable to solve the equation. Each cell in this special kind of spreadsheet is both an input cell and a calculated cell. This is very useful for all "what if" type calculations.

My Calcul stores an unlimited number of equations, which can be pasted in from any
external source (received email, sms...). Each user can set up a different set of
equations and turn My Calcul into his own specialized calculator: finance,
engineering, medical,...

Formerly known as The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP) and also BetaPlayer, now it is simply called CorePlayer Mobile. It has undergone various beta releases in the last 4 years and for those who had the opportunity to use it on Windows Mobile or Palm devices, it provided new experiences in viewing multimedia on the move.

n the past, with limited hardware and processing power on mobile devices (expecially smartphones) compared to a full blown desktop/laptop computer, users needed to encode their favourite videos before they could be played on the move. Editor's note. Common sense still needs to prevail. Sometimes you may get error you can "recover" from by simply closing the error dialog, sometimes the error goes away after restart, sometimes it may be screwed completely. You may not see all new code that is there, for it is disabled to not to tempt you to try it Wink

- "Tracklog Dir" option became "Data Dir" option; the directory it points to is expected to have these subdirs: maps, tracks-nmea, tracks-gpx and wpts
- tracklogs filenames now have YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS format and are stored in tracks-gpx/nmea dirs according to format selected
- all known waypoint files (.gpx and .loc) in wpts become available as "waypoint stores" in Waypoints menu (key 1)
- all 3 params for timing initialization for JSR-179 and Motorola Location API are available in Settings; when you open the settings, the field should contain by default the values that were hardcoded in previous versions (A780: 2,2,-1 E1000: 9999,1,2000 others: 1,-1,-1)
